Incident near paddling pool

Grachtenfestival in and near park

Open air church service May 10 2018
Four churches in Amsterdam Zuid will combine their services on Ascension Day in the open air, in the Beatrixpark. From 9.00 - 11.30, near the Paddling Pool/ Children's swimming pool. In case of bad weather the service will be held in the Thomaschurch nearby.
New Rosenthalbench
The bench around the tree at the entrance near the Dopperkade was a gift from Mrs Rosenthal, long ago. The old bench had been deteriorating lately. But now, thanks to the Stadsdeel Zuid, a beautiful new bench has been installed.

Entrance RAI renovated
The entrance to the park coming from the RAI terrain is being reconstructed at the moment. Is has always been a bit neglected area; but now it will get new pavement and benches. The two lions will be replaced, so we have been told.
