Last week a group of well-instructed volunteers started to remove the proliferating Japanese Knotweed. Thanks to the RAI and to Griekspoor: The Beatrixpark in Amsterdam Zuid has gained two unique benches. Two four metre long tree benches are donated to the park by RAI Amsterdam. Wij ontvingen bijgaand bericht van Zuidplus: Dinsdag 2 juni wordt een boom naast de A10 ter hoogte van het Beatrixpark verwijderd. Dangerous bridge closed

The main bridge from the Prinses Irenestraat to the park was already in bad condition. But this week one of the park-attendants stepped right through. So now the bridge is completely closed off.
